Hey, I’m Claire.
I'm a photographer and camera operator working across multiple disciplines, with a particular passion for lifestyle, wildlife, and food photography.
With a background in wildlife television and film as a camera operator, alongside a degree in filmmaking, I understand how to create beautiful images without the need for words.
My work has taken me everywhere from film and photography studios and television sets to hospitals, restaurants, remote locations and cities. I am skilled across multiple set-ups, whether that be natural lighting or studio set ups. I also pride myself in my adaptability, and my curiosity to try new things.
I am skilled editor, with Lightroom, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premier Pro all included in my skill set.
My clients have included BBC, Airbnb, and a lot(!) of Edinburgh’s food scene. I’ve worked on BBC Spring Watch and Countryfile, and now work freelance across TV and Marketing in all things camera related.
I have extensive experience producing both still and moving images for broadcast television, film productions, content creators, and marketing agencies. I’m not always up a ladder, as I am now a qualified drone pilot!
I seem to have fallen into a bit of a (fantastic!) niche of working with brands and people that celebrate the natural beauty of the world/and or sustainability.
My current project focuses on photographing and filming luxury eco-holiday homes for Airbnb.
I'm always looking for exciting new projects and opportunities to collaborate with fellow creative folk.
When I’m not working, I’m also taking photographs. Mostly of the wildlife/world I see around me. You can check that out in my prints section of my website.
